No, this is optional. Posting a photo is entirely up to you, but it may increase your chance of prospective spouses seeing your profile. We have given you some tips on the photo in the section where you upload the photo.

We advise the photos should be no more than 1 year old. We also encourage you to represent a true depiction of yourselves in the photo and ensure that the image is decent.

You can simply scan your image and then upload the scanned image on to the website.

The purpose of the albums is to allow you a choice of uploading extra photos of you and your family.Both albums are private and not viewable by anyone till you choose to reveal them. We have given you two albums as some people might not want to show photos for example of their family initially. The two albums basically give you the flexibility to be selective on what photos you want to share with your fellow users and at any given time.
