When we started to develop ShiaSpouse.com in December 2009 at the time we hoped that we would launch the website on the Holy Prophet (S.A.) birth anniversary in 2010. That ofcourse did not happen as it became apparent that ShiaSpouse.com needed to be well thought out and professionally developed to the best of our ability to do justice to ourselves and our community.

A year on and we feel that to a larger extent we are satisfied with the website that we have developed and are hopeful that we will get a similar response from our community. It truly has been a journey for us in which we have Alhamdulillah been blessed with the opportunity to learn and acquire knowledge.

To help us get here so many people have supported and contributed: Islamic scholars, community elders, family and friends, volunteers, members on facebook and the list can go on.

With the risk of forgetting someone and therefore choosing not to mention anyone by name we would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has made this project possible - Jazakallah Khair -without your help and Duas we would not have been able to compete this project!
